EvacuTrack™ “Managing Your Peace of Mind”

EvacuTrack™ gives individuals, families and businesses a simple, online solution to manage their own Emergency Preparedness to ensure peace of mind, before disaster strikes. Should an emergency occur, family, friends and business associates of an EvacuTrack member can be automatically notified by e-mail, fax or voice of your safety or whereabouts, during the evacuation or emergency. As part of their own personal or business emergency preparation plan, EvacuTrack members can assign one, two, or several either pre-set or custom notification messages to be dispatched. A few clicks on-line or simple toll-free phone call can instantly send critical information to your loved ones or business staff and partners, when a message can be so meaningful, and time for evacuation is short.

Each member is provided with a secure, on-line storage vault for the protection of important paper documents relating to your home, cars, valuables, insurance, wills, medical records, photographs and dozens of other irreplaceable papers that must be saved if a disaster should occur. The need for our important papers is typically greatest either during or right after an emergency. EvacuTrack enables its members with the tools to simply fax or scan important documents and photos for safekeeping into their own private, secure vault. The stored electronic copies of the documents will be saved in encrypted form in the member’s vault for later on-line retrieval at any time, by only the member. When caught by the surprise of an emergency, there is never time enough to gather up the important documents that represent the valued things and people in our lives. Protection of important documents, before a devastating event happens, can help to ensure that disaster does not include the total loss of your most important papers and photos.

All members are issued a personal EvacuTrack ID Card. This Card, with a unique EvacuTrack Number and Security Code/PIN for each member, can be used for fast access by phone to instantly send out your emergency notifications messages, and as an added benefit, can speed up registration and entry to shelters and facilities utilizing the SecureCOD™ Emergency Operations Evacuation System*. As an EvacuTrack member, authorized loved ones or business staff and partners may use your Card Number on our on-line Evacuee Tracking system. The on-line Track feature can help to locate a loved one, friend or pet that has registered during an evacuation, should the shelter offer SecureCOD as its Emergency Evacutation system. SecureCOD™ “Providing Emergency Shelter Management & Census Solutions”

SecureCOD, Inc. has introduced a comprehensive solution to manage evacuees in shelters located anywhere across the continent. Cities, counties and local authorities can purchase a SecureCOD (‘Secure Census on Demand’) hardware/software Kit, and its associated Membership Subscription for one or all of their designated evacuation shelters in order to easily manage, track, organize and locate individuals and families during any type of emergency or disaster event. The system provides the essential tools for shelter management and uninterrupted communication by a shelter operator or EOC (Emergency Operations Center) both during and immediately following a disaster event.

Such tools include a secure laptop computer, pre-loaded with SecureCOD™ software to register evacuees, manage demographics and uplink the information to the SecureCOD central, secure servers for county, state or federal level coordination, correlation and continuous reporting of population and evacuation data. Also included with each SecureCOD Kit is a specialized wristband printer, ID scanner, 2D barcode reader, camera, satellite phone and other equipment needed to manage critical information during shelter operations. Each evacuee is provided with an instantly printed wristband containing an encrypted 2D bar code (similar to a Driver’s License) that contains necessary information and demographics to identify the individual and to link him/her to his family and any registered pets.

SecureCOD’s solution helps to protect any population, small or large, by quickly providing vital census and demographic data to the local shelter management as well as regional government. SecureCOD, along with its on-line component, minimizes the time, cost and difficulty of locating and identifying children or family members that may become missing or lost due to separation during a disaster event. Since SecureCOD centralizes, collection and correlation of critical population census and demographic data, regardless of location, the rapid processing of data from any number of shelters, for immediate reporting is readily available. Members of EvacuTrack can not only use the benefits of their membership to protect their loved ones or businesses, but they can use their EvacuTrack Card(s) to quickly and easily register at any evacuation shelter that utilizes the SecureCOD Emergency Evacuation System. Since the EvacuTrack member’s required information for registration is already contained on their card in magnetic strip and encrypted bar-code form, registration in an emergency situation can be highly expedited for those that either lost or do not have official US government issued ID, such as a driver’s license. All manual registration at a shelter utilizing the SecureCOD system is eliminated for EvacuTrack members, A quick scan of a member’s EvacuTrack Card instantly updates the SecureCOD evacuee registration system to print the member’s shelter wristband. This benefit provided by EvacuTrack eliminates excessive time to manually enter an individual’s registration information and can save valuable staff resources and cost during an emergency evacuation or disaster event.
